SATO-170 AVC/OSC Open Head Orbital Weld Head
The SATO-170 AVC/OSC open head orbital welder is designed for large diameter pipe welding from 1 to 6.625 inches. It is ideal for heavy industrial applications including refineries, power plants, and large-scale process piping where weld quality and repeatability are critical. This advanced orbital TIG welding system provides consistent results across a wide range of materials, including high-alloy steels and exotic metals.
With integrated arc voltage control and oscillation, the SATO-170 AVC/OSC ensures optimal weld quality in multi-pass and thick-wall applications. The AVC system automatically regulates arc length, while the oscillation function distributes heat evenly for superior weld penetration and bead consistency. Its rugged design, combined with a 200 A liquid cooled capacity, supports continuous operation in demanding field and shop environments.
